Surf Sparkling Ocean - 180 loads Review

We bought this big box of detergent, trying to save some money. The product cleans clothes just fine, but my major problem with it was that the detergent consistently did not dissolve properly in the wash. I tried altering how much I put in vs the water level used, but nothing helped. 8 times out of 10 I would pull out my laundry to find detergent residue on my "clean" clothes and would have to run the load again through a rinse cycle losing time and money. What a waste!

When I obtained a coupon for this affordable green product, I was curious enough to switch from the brand which I had been using.

Smelling pleasant from the bottle and getting my clothes clean, it pours out very quickly. I was amazed at the formula composition. I also wondered what had been put in it!

People need to watch how they are pouring this substance or else it's going to rush out on them--and then accidentally defeat the whole point of being cost and/or ecologically conscious. We're only supposed to use the amount of product which we absolutely need to get done, not waste extra resources just for the sake of it.

With a little formula tinkering, I am certain that this product would be flying off the shelves.

I have been on the lookout for a powdered HE laundry detergent that is safe for my septic system and works with my front loader.This product seems to fit the bill.It has no noticeable smell on my clothes which is what I prefer since I have sensitivities to fragrances.It has a slight borax smell (which would be due to that included ingredient) but is not overly strong. I had a problem with liquid detergents turning my whites blue (I haven't figured that one out yet) and this product doesn't do that.All in all, a great product and one that I will purchase again.Hopefully, next time, I won't have to purchase the detergent in tiny little bags although I get about 2 1/2 loads out of each bag.

Due to my daughter being born with very sensitive, eczema-prone skin, I spent a lot of time over the past year looking for and testing gentler products and cleaners. At the same time, my family was attempting to become just a little more "green" -- in large part to keep her immediate environment safe.

It was about that time I came across a story on Washington Post where they tested of all the major (and a few minor) earth-friendly detergents. This one rated tops, so I decided to give it a try. Low and behold, the stuff actually works (unlike the 7th Generation products I tested earlier). Not only did switching to this detergent make a huge difference in the number and severity of her flare ups, it actually CLEANED her perpetually pea-stained clothes (all while being gentle on the environment). Just as promising, I found that a little goes a long way, making the price difference from a standard Tide or equivalent detergent something I could swallow.

I stumbled upon Country Save Laundry Detergent when I began cloth diapering in an attempt to be more environmentally friendly.I should mention that I have two kids and a husband who is a maintenance technician at a factory so we have tons of dirty, sometimes really dirty laundry.

I like that it has no scent so it doesn't irritate anyone's sensitive skin and it smells more fresh to me that way.It suds well and cleans better than most conventional, chemical laden soaps I've used before.

I am impressed that clothing, when hung on a line to dry, does not come out stiff.I think that was one of my bigger selling points, that and it has no fragrance or extras that causes liquids to repel.This is huge for cloth diapers.

I bought one 10 pound box, and use it in my top loader.We're on the same box about two months later so I'd say it's a good buy.

I'm hooked.
