This is a truly great product.I have had a couple of wool sweaters come back from the dry cleaner rough and stiff, albeit clean.It is really true that the cleaning solution removes the natural oils that keep your wool soft.When I needed to clean a cashmere sweater, I purchased The Laundress Cashmere Shampoo.My sweater came out clean, soft and smelling wonderful (if you like the scent of cedar).You do have to have patience to swish your sweater in a tub, rinse and wrap in a towel, then lay flat.You will be rewarded a thousand times over, though.My sweaters actually seemed to be in better condition than when they went into the tub. If you have a sweater you love, or one that is expensive, use this!

This product is not available in High efficiency formula in my area even now months after I placed my order. The product works well but it is hard to be satified with a detergent that took three months to get and cost $12.00 per bottle; no matter how well it works.

I've been searching for a detergent that smells as good as ERA, but ERA doesn't make an HE version.This has completely made up for it!I can't use fabric softener because of its effect on my sensitive skin, so I'm always looking for a detergent that not only cleans great but has a lasting smell.Being that it's so new, I've had a hard time finding the larger bottles at Sam's Club or Costco.

This two pack arrive inside a green plastic bag inside the shipping box. I don't know why this happened, but about a quarter of the bottles spilled inside the plastic bag during shipping and the detergent poured all over my floor when I opened the box. Some kind of protective tape or something should be applied to the lid of the containers that way it doesn't spill in transit. Be careful ordering because it may spill during shipping.

Planet Delicate Laundry Wash, Case Pack, Eight 32 Fluid-Ounce Bottles (256 Fluid-Ounces) Review

This product is excellent for washing delicates and other things for which you would use a woolite type laundry product. Another review trashes it because it did not fully clean sweaty dirty work clothes worn by a man. Excuse me, it is _not_ intended as a heavy duty cleaner and I think it is unfair to give it a poor score on those grounds. I use it on lightly soiled loads and for handwashing delicates and woolens. It does those jobs excellently and without irritating my skin or my nose. I'll continue to buy it. For heavier dirt I use Planet's regular liquid laundry detergent, which I highly recommend also.

We work in construction and farming, and other detergents alone would not remove the sour sweat smell from some "sweat in all day" articles of clothing. I use LESS than the recommended amount of detergent in my frontloader (even though I use HE detergent), and have had great results with removing the odors and ordinary soil from our worst work clothes. I highly recommend this product, especially for serious work clothes. Combined with a scant amount of Downey Clean Breeze softener, the results were quite pleasant.

I'm not a stereotypical tree hugger, but I've been slowing adding more organic & natural products to my household. This laundry detergent is by far my FAVORITE earth friendly product I've found.

The description says that it containes Enzymes for ultra cleaning power, then right on the bottle it says "No Enzymes" plus the last shipment I purchased of the free and clear was 32 loads a bottle and this is only 16 loads a bottle. It does not work well, I have had to boost it with Borax and even then its not great. Very disappoineted in the misleading discription. I would not recomend this Except for wools and silks as stated on the bottle but NO WHERE in the discription.

Mrs. Meyer's Laundry Detergent, Lavender Scent - 64 fl oz Review

I picked this up because I try to be enviro-friendly and artificial scents give me awful headaches. Usually I use
Seventh Generation.

This smelled okay in the bottle, but upon washing clothes, it left a distinctly cedar scent. I am not sure of the blend of essential oils and other scents in this, but it comes off as Cedar - the fake scent as in men's cologne (which I cannot tolerate).

Also, this left a very sticky residue all over my hands. I washed my delicate shower curtain by hand in the sink, and this left a residue all over the shower curtain and my hands which took 4 washings to remove. If it is leaving this much residue, then I don't want it on my fabrics/clothing.

I emailed the company a week ago and still have not heard from customer service. Basically at this point, I wish to have a refund due to the problems I encountered.

I will happily return to using my Seventh Generation which has none of these issues.

Good concept, but I find that it makes a lot of suds and they do not rinse out of the clothes easily. At the end of the cycle there is a residue of suds on the clothes and the washer.
Cutting back on the amount added to the load helps some.
