Due to my daughter being born with very sensitive, eczema-prone skin, I spent a lot of time over the past year looking for and testing gentler products and cleaners. At the same time, my family was attempting to become just a little more "green" -- in large part to keep her immediate environment safe. It was about that time I came across a story on Washington Post where they tested of all the major (and a few minor) earth-friendly detergents. This one rated tops, so I decided to give it a try. Low and behold, the stuff actually works (unlike the 7th Generation products I tested earlier). Not only did switching to this detergent make a huge difference in the number and severity of her flare ups, it actually CLEANED her perpetually pea-stained clothes (all while being gentle on the environment). Just as promising, I found that a little goes a long way, making the price difference from a standard Tide or equivalent detergent something I could swallow.
