I decided to try Maggies's Soap Nuts because of allergies I was making my own detergent using three different products and having to mix them.I liked the idea of the space saving size because I live in a small space and like to stock up on items.I have done 8 loads of laundry and did not apply a second rinse as I usually do; and I am well pleased with the cleanliness and softness I have. I will also save on the vinegar rinse I use to use that I will not need to do anymore. I actually put the "used" soap nuts in a jar with water and was pleasantly surprised to find more liquid soap to use around the house.Note: I always use hot water so that was why I was surprised to find it still usable.You do not see any sudsing while washing, but there was sudsing in the left over soap nuts put in water.The only downsize was the "bag" that came with it.I had to open another box to get another bag to put the product into and turn that upside down in the second bag.This has no effect of product and that was why I gave it the five stars.I will buy this product as long as it is available.
