Product Description:
Tide HE Powder is specially formulated to unlock the cleaning potential of high efficiency washers.Standard detergents can cause over-sudsing when less water is used, and using less detergent sacrifices cleaning power. But Tide HE provides excellent cleaning with the right level of sudsing.Because a HE washing machine uses less water than a regular top-loading washing machine, there is a higher concentration of soil to the amount of water.Tide HE Powder is formulated with increased levels of ingredients that suspend this higher level of soil, preventing it from re-depositing on clothes during the wash cycle.Original Scent.31 Uses.

Gain Powder Detergent, Island Fresh Scent, Case Pack, Three 80-Load Boxes (240-Loads) Review

The scent is clean, floral and not at all overpowering. I really love being able to still smell the slight fragrance when I put my clothes on.
The powder is quickly absorbed in the water, and after more than 50 loads, I still have yet to see a trace of powder in any of them when I transfer my clothes to the dryer. Good stuff.

This soap powder makes my clothes very clean and smell very fresh without dyes and perfumes. The little pillow pack is convenient, and has been great when I went on long business trips and needed to take laundry powder with me.(No muss no fuss).Aditionally, the container is reusable and can also be used as a bank.Lastly, the product is hypoallergenic (important to me because I'm allergic to many laundry detergents) and is a good buy.

UNIVERSAL POWDER - 80 Loads Also known as PERSIL JUMBO PACK Review

I was very hesitant to order this at first, but I'm so glad I did! I love this detergent.

I only need to use a heaping tablespoon of powder in my HE washing machine and my clothes come out fresh and clean. With 5 daughters we have no short supply of laundry, especially since the three youngest ones sometimes go through two or three outfits in one day. I run at least two loads of laundry every day and one box of Persil lasts six months to a year, compared with a similar sized box of Tide that only lasts 8 weeks if I'm lucky.

Arm & Hammer Super Wash Soda, Detergent Booster 55 oz (1559 g) Review

This would've gotten five stars if it weren't for the price.I LOVE making my own cleaning supplies with this stuff, but at over $9 a box (I can get it at King Soopers for $3.50 or on Alice for $2.75), this is just ridiculous. At this price, it makes making your own cleaning supplies WAY MORE than just buying them.Mainly, I wanted to leave this review for people who are interested in purchasing this, but put off by the price.Shop around. You'll do much, much better elsewhere.

Biokleen Premium Plus Laundry Powder, 5-Lb. Boxes (Case of 8) Review

We thought we should be good to nature and give up some performance moving to an environmentally safe laundry powder. We have four kids and often do two loads a day, so making this change will mean a lot less mess from our waste water. Out went Tide and in went Bi-O-Kleen. The first thing we noticed was the fresh natural scent, not the pungent detergent scent from the major brands. I then noticed how little we had to use, how one box does 54 loads. Nice! And then old stains started to dissapear from our clothing. Old, kind of faded grease stains was gone! Also, dulled fabrics seemed to brighten up, but we are not sure if that's only our happines with the product rubbing off on the laundry.

We have been using this now for a while and we will never go back to the "old school powders". because not only is this good for nature, it's a better laundry powder alltogether!

Miele / Henkel : Persil Megaperls Color European Laundry Detergent - 45 loads Review

I thought anyone would have been crazy to spend almost $50 for one container of laundry detergent...and then I got my Miele washing machine (front-loading, super-efficient, great German engineering, super-high quality washer).Miele recommends Persil laundry detergents since they follow the European way of doing laundry--smaller loads using less water and less detergent and no added fabric softeners (or a speck of their approved brands).I got over the sticker shock and ordered the Megaperls Color. That one box lasted 14 months since you only use 1-2 tablespoons per load, depending onwhat you wash.I do 5-9 loads of laundry per week of jeans, khakis, polo shirts, sweaters, blouses, socks and underwear, and towels.Everything comes out clean and fresh WITHOUT the detergent smell overpowering everything. If I have a stubborn stain like spaghetti sauce or motor oil, I still pretreat with a dab of Era though, toss in wash and it always comes out clean.I was initally concerned that the powder would clump in a cold wash, but it has never clumped and always washed out thoroughly, not to mention never leaving that gummy-feeling on clothes that some liquid detergents do.

I know it sounds crazy to suggest this "expensive" laundry detergent, but IF you have a high-effiency FRONT-loading washer, doing my max of 9 loads per week x 52 weeks year = 468 loads per year. $47 / 468 = .10 per load.A 30-load Cheer at $4.99 comes out to .17 per load, and you'd have to buy 16 bottles to do my 468 loads in a year.AND you don't have to buy it as often as the bottles, AND since you use less detergent, it's less you are washing down the drain or loading in your septic tank. After using it on my husband's and my clothes for a little over a year, and just now buying my second box, I am very happy with its ability to clean our clothes, not an overpowering smell to deal with, and its cost-effectiveness, I heartily recommend Persil.

Nellie's All Natural Laundry Nuggets Detergent (36 Load) Review

Like many people, I'm trying my best to reduce environmental impact and live healthier.I've been using dryer balls for some time now and love them.I thought I'd try these laundry nuggets (mainly because I'm bad at measuring and feel like I go through liquid detergent much faster than it says I should)... Well, they're fantastic! They work in hot and cold water, great for everything from towels to delicates and, between these and the laundry balls, my basement no longer smells like a laundromat!I did one load with my old detergent the other day and couldn't believe how strong the odor was!On top of it all, my clothes are still soft and fresh! The only warning is that you have to let the nugget dissolve before putting in your clothes (but that only takes about 7-10 seconds at any temp) otherwise it doesn't disintegrate. So, if you're looking for something that is health and environmentally conscious, try these!

Biokleen Citrus Laundry Powder, 10-Lb. Boxes (Pack of 4) Review

I have been using Biokleen Citrus Laundry Powder for about one year.It works very well in a high-efficiency front loading clothes washing machine. And I only need to use a tiny amount of powder to get clothes clean. The 10-lb box lasts me about 3 months and I typically do at least 5 loads of laundry each week. I like that it is simply packaged in a cardboard box so that I don't have to feel bad about throwing out or recycling the big heavy plastic bottles that liquid laundry detergent usually comes in.My family members have very sensitive skin and none of us have had any skin reactions to this laundry powder.I do still have to pretreat food stains if I want to be sure they will come out in the wash.

All Small & Mighty Triple Concentrated Liquid Laundry Detergent, Stainlifter, 96-Ounce Bottles (Case of 4) Review

We love the All Small & Mighty laundry detergent, but ordering from Amazon just didn't work out. The bottles broke in transit because of insufficient packaging (and probably some rough handling, no doubt). My wife happened to be outside when the package arrived; the delivery man didn't even make it all the way to our front door before he realized that the box was dripping detergent all over the place. Back on the truck it went, and Amazon refunded our money. Great customer service (we didn't even have to report the problem ourselves) but unfortunately, we've consistently had bad luck ordering liquids from Amazon.

Tide Powder Detergent, Original Scent, Case Pack, Two 120-Load Boxes (240-Loads) Review

Ever since a severe rash sent me to a dermatologist decades ago, I've been using Tide detergent. Liquid detergents, he said, are dangerous to your skin. They contain all kinds of irritants not included in an old-fashioned box of Tide.

Based on that advice, for upwards of 20 years I've avoided skin rashes from the nasty chemicals in liquid soap detergents.

I'm especially pleased with Amazon's subscription offering for Tide, too. Buying this way is so much less expensive than buying in a store, not to mention avoiding the schlepping (carrying heavy loads).

Tide is an economical, safe clothes detergent, which I recommend highly.

All Powder Laundry Detergent, Fresh Rain, 40-Load Box (Pack of 4) Review

I have been using the All detergent for the past two weeks before reviewing it; I purchased it based upon the other review, which indicated that stains were lifted out and not much fragrance was left in clothes. Both of these observations are true in my experience as well.I garden for a hobby, and my clothes are often very, very dirty. This product will get your clothes clean.I don't particularly want any fragrance in my clothes, so I am happy that there isn't a residual smell.I have also tried the product with cold water, and it will dissolve in cold washes. Finally, if you purchase this product when Amazon runs a coupon special (see the Sales & Special Offers section), plus get super saver shipping, the per washload cost runs around 9 cents a load, which is pretty good.
