Remember the old OxiClean TV commercials? You know, the ones where Billy May claimed OxiClean was the miracle worker that was the answer to all your wash-day problems. Then my wife introduced OxiClean into our house. We now add OxiClean to our wash loads, especially the white things. I'm still not totally convinced that it works as well as the old commercials suggest, but she insists on it's use and I follow along.

One thing is certain. I've seen her work miracles with this stuff! She deals with antique dolls and their restoration. I've seen her have doll clothes that I would just have thrown away as worthless trash. Some of them even smelled bad (read reeked) from years of exposure to smoking. Well, she boils them in an OxiClean solution and the end results are, indeed, a miracle. Something I would just have thrown away comes out nice and bright and fresh and, with ironing, looks like new. It's amazing, I must say! OK, I'm convinced. I can't see much of a change in an individual washer load of weekly laundry, but her special care with antique doll clothes would convince anyone that this stuff is truly outstanding. We buy it in these very large 15-pound boxes.
